I'm Nanders — a landscape photographer working mostly before sunrise and after dark, when the light is scarce enough to mean something. Most of what's on this site comes from long drives, longer waits, and the occasional bad decision to sit in the cold a little longer.
I care about place more than gear: the specific hour, the specific weather, the way fog sits differently over water than over stone. Prints are made in small runs, printed and checked by hand.
